My name is Jackie ..and I am a mother of 8 handsome boys 7 of them have Cystic Fibrosis ..it been really hard to understand this sickness .. I have never heard of . In my life all I heard of was cancer ..all my mothers side of the family ( woman) have been through some kinda of cancer .. It's has never skipped a generation ..I was stuck with breast cancer 15 years ago pregnant with my 3rd child ..... Dr said it was very advanced I had a 50/50 chance of making ..but I did ..and I thank life everyday ...So now am here with my boys ..... having CF ...having to see them suffer with something I didn't even know existed .. Breaks my heart ... Not knowing what to do I Shelter at them from all sports .. Thinking that that would keep them safe from germs and hospitals stays .. Boy was I wrong ...I know now that I have to let them enjoy life and let them lead somewhat of a normal life ..but what is normal anyways ... I just want them to have the best I can offer them of life .. And what is better than the ocean ...that is where I went to release my pain when I was sick ..I know our story is very long .. But I tried to make it as shot as possible ... They r looking froward to going surfing this year ...
