I have spent the last 15 years surfing all over the world including the UK, Portugal, Kenya, NZ, WA state, Oregon, Hawaii, and NC. In that time, I also completed a Master's degree in Medical Anthropology and a PhD in Anthropology. I currently conduct HIV-related research at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine.

I appreciated the work this organization does and am an experienced volunteer. -

I have volunteered at similar events in the past and have experience working with children and adults who are differently abled. I have been surfing for 15 years. -

Surfing, rock climbing, trail running, volunteering, cooking, reading -

Wrightsville beach
