I have been married for 18 years and I have 4 amazing kids. My son has an immune Deficency that has caused him to loose his hearing in his right ear. He has a rare allergic disease that has lead us to Oahu. He has been through 8 mastoidectomies and several hospital stays and medical treatments. Throughout this my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. She fought it for 10 years and died and 52 years old leaving behind my little brother. After her death I found out I had the BRCA 2 gene and elected to have a full hysterectomy and double mastectomy. My family and I have been tested in several ways and are all still fighting for peace and health. Being apart of something that brings happiness to other people I believe will return the favor back to my family.

When did you join MOF?

Why did you join Mauli Ola's mission?
I want to join because I believe in helping other people.
Skills or talents that could be beneficial to MOF during an event (ex. CPR certified, former surf instructor, lifeguard, experienced waterman)
I am creative, I work hard, I do a little photography, I'm great at organization and communication.
What are your hobbies?
My family! I have 4 kids. Their hobbies become mine too! And photography.
What is your favorite surf spot or beach?
Right now my family surfs at White Plains but I love all beach from Pismo Beach to Oahu.
