Born at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach, grew up in Costa Mesa and recently moved to Long Beach with my wife. I've been surfing, skating, snowboarding, BMX, and riding motocross my whole life. Safe to say I spent more time outdoors than indoors! Worked in the motocross industry while going to school at Orange Coast College, then moved on to pursue a career in the medical industry with my nursing license, where I am now an Assistant Clinic Manager at a neurology outpatient clinic in Newport Beach. I am really looking forward to helping kids get out in the water and catch some waves!

When did you join MOF?
2015 -
Why did you join Mauli Ola's mission?
One of my friends passed away due to complications of CF and I have surfed my whole life. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing a kid catch their first wave and the pure joy of it. -
Skills or talents that could be beneficial to MOF during an event (ex. CPR cirtified, former surf instructor, lifeguard, experienced waterman)
Currently a Licensed Vocational Nurse, CPR/AED/IV/Phlebotomy certified. 3 years of Junior Lifeguards in Newport Beach, 2 year varsity letterman on Newport Harbor High School surf team, and judged a few Volcom Sea-Slug comps in LA county a few years ago. -
What are your hobbies?
Building hot rods, surfing, funny movies, and working with the Autism community. -
What is your favorite surf spot or beach?
I grew up in Costa Mesa so Newport is my favorite beach, but my favorite surf spot is Burleigh Heads, Australia.
