Hello,
I'm a 31 year old Engineer and part time surf instructor who is looking to make a difference in someone elses life by volunteering some time to help get those with CF out in the water. I've held numerous positions that would make me a beneficial asset to the foundation such as a surf instructor, a volunteer/lead for various similar (and non-similar) organizations, special needs case worker for the school district doing one on one DTT training, and most importantly uncle to a niece and nephew. I've heard of the Mauli Ola foundation for quite sometime but only recently did I truly grasp what you guys are doing here and once I saw the "May the wave heal us all" video I convinced myself that I was a perfect fit for this outreach and could actually make a difference doing what I love.. Surfing! Stoked to be a part of the next local event and cant wait to help out in any way possible. Feel free to let me know if there is anything i can to to help organize or spread the word.
