I am one of the founding members of Ride-A-Wave (www.rideawave.org) in 1997. Ride A Wave takes special needs individuals out for a day at the beach (sand castle making, surfing, body boarding, and kayaking). Also the founding member of the annual Bay for Breath fundraiser for Living Breath Foundation (www.bayforbreath.com). The bay crossing in a paddle across Monterey Bay to raise money for families coping with Cystic Fibrosis. Master trainer since 1993, and local Santa Cruz surfer for the past three decades.
