Paul is 6.5 years old and has Cystic Fibrosis. The first 3 years of his life he was in and out of the hospital battling a deadly lung infection and struggled with low lung function. Once the lung infection was eradicated, his lung function improved, along with his overall health.

Paul has been going to school since he was 3 years old and he is currently in the first grade. His favorite subject is science. He has been swimming since he was a year old and for the past two years he has developed a strong love for swimming in the ocean. In summer of 2019, he started learning how to surf and he loves it!

In Fall of 2019, Paul�s lung function plummeted again. He spent a week in the hospital, had a radical sinus surgery and other procedures. Thanks to a new FDA approved CF drug, Symdeko, Paul�s overall lung health and lung function are now the best they have been since he was 4 years old.

Paul is looking forward to surfing with the Mauli Ola Foundation!
