we moved to Fla, 7 months ago from 10 yrs in Hawaii.. Army family , husband sustained a TBI that causes seizures, in Afghanistan. he medically retired from the Army bringing us state side for a few yrs . we miss Hawaii terribly . back in 2017 for good :-)
we have 3 sons -ages 16, 12 & 6.
*oldest plays football & wrestles for Merritt Island high school varsity starter- decent surfer.
*middle son is autistic & sickle cell.. wonderfully kind hearted human who works very hard to over come his obstacles. ( learned to surf with Makua Rothman, Haliewa, 2007. still talks about it .
* youngest son was born with cleft lip & alveolar ridge, has had 6 surgeries & coming up on bone grafting next year.
* husband wounded warrior, semi pro football player, bull rider, steer roper & surfer.. now trying to deal with tbi & seizures.
* myself.. veterinary, sports med, surf, bully shows, Mom & wife

surfing has always been a huge part of our lives- don't see much of it here in Florida but we sure need it . Kids love the water & have all surfed since they could tandem on our boards.
